We are committed to promoting water, health and sanitation to ensure that our people in communities are living healthy and safe.
We also promote water, sanitation and hygiene with the help of Village Health Teams (VHTs) through constructing boreholes, digging rubbish pits, constructing tippy taps among others.
You sign up to sponsor a child and the GITRE Team introduces you to your sponsored child.
Every available information about the child will be at your disposal to know more about your child. We desire for you to truly know the child you sponsor and we guarantee they will know you.
Your child will rely on your monthly support to attend school. They will look forward to writing you messages, share their academic progress , and send video messages from time-to-time. They need you.
You will look forward to receiving a letter from your child within 6-10 weeks. It is the beginning of your personal relationship, and a fuller life for the both of you!
With the help of district health workers, we conduct health outreaches where we visit different villages and the following activities are carried out:
