One of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is quality education, a number of communities in Iganga District remain not served with basic services such as schools, especially in communities living in rural areas.
It is upon such a background, that GITRE and its well-wishers mobilized themselves to reach out to these communities in a bid to transform the livelihoods for the people.
We have supported over 55 women in villages with sewing machines, We believe that training of single mothers, widows and youth in skills will create sustainable solutions that will restore hope and also improve the standards of living of communities.

Our skills facility will empower communities in Tailoring, Knitting, Hairdressing, Building and construction, among others.
