Walulu Stanley is the founder of Given To Rejoice Ministries and GITRE Children. As a talented graphic designer, street evangelist and servant leader, he blends creativity with faith to inspire change, empower the vulnerable, and spread the message of God’s love across communities.
Having lost his mother at the age of eight and never knowing his father, Walulu experienced homelessness and hardship firsthand. Yet, these trials ignited within him a deep compassion and unshakable sense of purpose. From his pain after encountering Christ in 2009, emerged a vision, to bring hope, shelter, and belonging to orphans, women and marginalized families, offering them the love and security of a true home.
Through GITRE Ministries, Walulu has led numerous community outreach initiatives, including women’s empowerment programs and large-scale relief efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic that supported hundreds of struggling families in Iganga.
His journey of faith and resilience continues to inspire others, reflecting a life wholly devoted to service, creativity, and the transformative power of God’s grace. He is reading the rescue missions of vulnerable children at GITRE Children Home and empowering women in need.
As a teenager, enduring hunger and nights beneath the open sky, homeless and without family, instilled in me an unshakable sense of purpose. From those hardships was born my mission and calling: to extend love and care to countless orphans, offering them the warmth, security, and belonging of a true family in Christ.
